Yes, there is again an excited news for WhatsApp lover, according to the developers of WhatsApp a new BETA version has been released and it would be a fantastic application for Android devices. Though it doesn’t have any new feature but it fixes some of the bugs and it makes the application more stable than before.

This news is also in rumors that application will receive soon a Video Calling feature and it seems that the Android smartphones will be the first ones that will receive it. There is nothing confirm from the developers about this.

The developers of WhatsApp have announced that  the owners of the smartphones that run on BlackBerry, BlackBerry 10, Nokia S40, Nokia S60, Windows 7.1, Android 2.1 and Android 2.2 OS will  stop getting support on these operating systems, which means that soon they will stop releasing new versions of the WhatsApp application for the mentioned software.

 

WhatsApp 2.12.505: How To Install On Your Android Device

 

The WhatsApp 2.12.505 is currently in BETA phase, which means that if you want to test it out, you will need to manually install it on your Android device. You can get WhatsApp BETA from Google Play Store, but you will need to join the WhatsApp BETA program.

 

But, if you don’t want to join the WhatsApp BETA program on the Google Play Store, you can always download the APK file and install it on your Android device. For that you have to, head to whatsapp.com/android and download the WhatsApp 2.12.505 APK file to your Android device. After that, enable the “Unknown Sources” option from your device’s Settings->Security.

 

Once you have the “Unknown Sources” option enabled, use a file manager application to get to the location where you’ve saved the WhatsApp 2.12.505 APK file and tap on it to start installing the latest WhatsApp BETA version on your Android device!
